Paula (PEPA) Elbaz, a native of Algiers, grew up in France and immigrated to Israel in the 1970s. A student of John Byle (1928-2015), she taught a unique combination of ballet and painting for many years. 

On the new series, "To a Better Worl" (2025), PEPA explains: "Despite these last difficult years for our People, I have chosen to focus on the best the world has to offer us: Nature and flora. Flowers from faraway lands like China, Japan, and Hawaii, and flowers from all over bring to us the experience of a better world."
